Specifications: 69Grams

This specimen is 100% crusted in a thick calcium-rich crust with some of the typical red-oxide staining, from the area that it fell. An amazing stone!

The Millbillillie meteorite fall in the Wiluna district of Western Australia was witnessed in the form of a fireball and shower of sparks by station workers on the plains of Millbillillie and Jundee Stations in October 1960. Contrary to popular reports, a number of specimens were collected in the early 1960s but an extensive search was not initiated until some ten years later. Millbillillie is popular amongst collectors both as a representative eucrite fall and for its beauty – specimens often exhibit a well preserved glossy black fusion crust with flow-lines, crust accumulation areas and superb orientation.
